Privacy policy
Crossley Quarter privacy policy
Effective 20 August 2026
This policy explains how the M Property project team operating Crossley Quarter at 6 Cross Street, Footscray collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information in connection with the website, leasing enquiries and commercial outreach.
1. Information we collect
We may collect your name, organisation, role, work email, phone number, proposed use, preferred area, timing, decision stage, enquiry details, consent choices and correspondence. We may also collect website source information, campaign parameters, referring page, page visits, form activity, leasing-pack clicks and email delivery, opening, clicking, bounce and complaint events.
2. How we collect information
We collect information directly through the enquiry form, emails, calls, inspections and other communications. For relevant business outreach, we may use publicly available professional contact information or information supplied by authorised business data providers. We also collect limited technical and engagement data through the website and email delivery system.
3. Why we collect and use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide relevant plans and leasing information, assess requirements, arrange inspections, progress leasing discussions, maintain records, protect the website, measure campaign effectiveness and improve communications. We may also use information to comply with legal obligations and resolve complaints or disputes.
4. Direct marketing
Marketing updates are optional where consent is requested. You may unsubscribe at any time using the method in the message or by contacting us. We will action valid unsubscribe requests within the period required by law. A service message responding to your enquiry is not treated as an ongoing marketing subscription.
5. Website and email analytics
We use privacy-conscious first-party website events and our email delivery provider to understand whether communications are sent, delivered, opened or clicked and whether a campaign leads to a website visit or enquiry. Campaign links may contain an opaque recipient token and campaign parameters. The token does not contain your name, email address or phone number.
Email open information is approximate because some applications block tracking or pre-load content. Delivery, click and completed-enquiry data are generally more reliable.
6. Cookies and local browser storage
The current website does not use advertising cookies. It may use temporary browser session storage and campaign parameters to connect activity during a visit. If additional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated first.
7. Disclosure
Information may be accessed by authorised project personnel, professional advisers and contracted providers needed for website hosting, database services, email delivery, analytics, document delivery, security and leasing administration. We do not sell personal information or merge Crossley Quarter enquiry information into unrelated marketing databases.
8. Overseas processing
Some contracted technology providers may process or store information outside Australia. Depending on service configuration and routing, locations may include Japan, the European Union and the United States. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate access controls.
9. Security
We use access restrictions, encrypted transmission, protected service credentials, row-level database controls and limited authorised access. No online system is risk-free. Where applicable, suspected eligible data breaches will be assessed and handled under Australian notification requirements.
10. Retention
Information is retained only while reasonably needed for the leasing opportunity, relationship management, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security or another lawful business purpose. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, de-identified or securely archived where practical and lawful.
11. Access and correction
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Exceptions permitted by law may apply.
12. Privacy complaints
To make a privacy request or complaint, use the Crossley Quarter enquiry form and begin your message with “Privacy request”. Explain the issue and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records. We will acknowledge and investigate the request and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied and the Australian Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
13. Changes
We may update this policy when systems, providers, legal requirements or leasing operations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
